ABOUT ELDER KELLY

A Dayton, Ohio Native who grew up singing in the church, Elder Kelly is an anointed musician and servant of God with rich experiences in church music and worship. Elder Kelly is licensed and ordained has formally served in progressive ministries as Minister of Music, Worship and Arts. In this capacity, His style of ministry has set trends for its creative use of drama, mime and dance in the worship services. Mycal has been responsible for a diverse staff of musicians and artists. A resource for the local church, he is frequently invited to present workshops on the use of arts to enhance the spoken and sung word.

Elder Kelly has helped set trends by implementing programs to enhance a more traditional style ministry with diversity in its presentations of the Gospel, making it a leader in the area of worship. His prayer is God will continue to use him in Cincinnati to do more of the same.

Elder Kelly currently, resides in Cincinnati, Ohio Presently Serves as the Minister of Music and Christian Arts at Wayman Chapel African American Methodist Church in Dayton, Ohio pastored by Reverend Gerald & Reverend Mila Cooper. Elder Kelly is ordained serves on the presbytery for the Word Centered Fellowship, a Multi-Cultural inter-denominational body committed to building and strengthening local churches and ministries, Led by Bishop David Green Jr. Who is also the Senior Pastor of Faith Fellowship Ministries International Middletown, Ohio where Elder Kelly was licensed and commissioned in the five fold ministry.

Elder Kelly received his formal music training at Indiana-Purdue Universities at Fort Wayne and continues to improve his skills through association with other professional musicians.

Besides serving inside the walls of the church, Elder Kelly’s ministries has been shared in educational forums as a presenter at Universities presenting sessions on the use of the arts in the black worship experience. He is much known for his education in structural gospel music methods reflecting teaching gospel, spiritual and traditional/modern gospel music that are related to biblical texts. Elder Kelly focuses on teaching youths and adults the differential between gospel, spiritual styles and how it incorporate jazz rhythms and blues singing into religious music, while utilizing various instruments.

Elder Kelly celebrates over 25 years of ministry. He has received International recognition ministry has expanded outside the United States. He has received several awards for his presentations by educational and religious organizations.

Elder Kelly is married to Juanita Kelly, an anointed singer and composer.

What We Believe

Our Statement of Faith a Mycal Kelly Ministries International is the guiding principles of our behavior and the priorities that are most important to us. Although we work with various denominations, Organizations, Educational and secular groups, we are a direct reflection of the character of God. Therefore as we are shaped by these professions of faith, we reflect God himself to the world around us. More than anything God values people. It is proven throughout scripture that God’s heart is towards people and His relationship with them. MKMI holds these doctrinal guidelines as a guide to our belief and values system.

We Believe …

In the verbal inspiration of the Bible.
In one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary.
That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor.
That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins.
That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.
In sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost.
Holiness to be God’s standard of living for His people.
In the baptism with the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart.
In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
In water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
That healing is provided for all in the atonement.
In the Lord’s Supper and washing of the saints’ feet.
In the premillennial second coming of Jesus. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years.
In the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked.
